About My Special Shirt™

As a mother of three children, one of whom was a chronic thumb sucker, Dina was concerned and looked for a solution. With her son, many times he did not even realize he was sucking his thumb at night as he slept. For him, this was when the sucking was constant and did the most damage. Dina turned to her pediatrician and pediatric dentist looking for solutions. None of their suggestions worked. Through this experience, she realized she needed to develop a new and special product to help her son.

My Special Shirt™ was created to help deter her son from sucking his thumb at night and during nap time and he loved wearing it! Once he no longer had the urge to suck his thumb at night, the daytime urge quickly ended, as well. Equally as exciting, her pediatric dentist said her son's teeth would start to move back within a couple of weeks and she was right! As the word spread, so did requests for My Special Shirt™. Today, Dina is thanked daily by parents and children who have been helped by using My Special Shirt™ - what could be better than that!
